Bisley Road Cemetery is a nature reserve and comprises the Victorian Chapel of Rest, old gravestones, unimproved limestone grassland, scrub, plantation woodland, specimen trees and boundary walls. Sue Smith will give an introductory talk and lead a walk through the cemetery.

The whole site is managed by Stroud Town Council and supports a rich variety of plants and animals, including nationally and locally rare species and UK and Gloucestershire Priority Habitats and Species.

This event is organised by the Stroud Valleys Project and supported by Adult Education in Gloucestershire.

There is a charge for the event and advanced booking is required.
