Crickley Hill is one of the finest examples of unimproved limestone grassland in the county and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its rich diversity of wildflowers such as yellow wort, carline thistle, autumn gentian and clustered bellflower. It also supports good populations of butterflies such as Chalkhill Blue.

This event is organised and run by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust: “Help us to discover what Wildlife lives on Crickley Hill. Take part in surveys led by local experts or have your own adventure searching for the animals, plants and other organisms that have made Crickley Hill their home. We will have lots of different activities running throughout the day.”
