“Wildlife of a Gloucestershire Garden” by David Priddis.

The talk includes examples of most taxa, including fungi, wild flowers, insects, spiders, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, etc., to show there is more to a garden than just a single interest and to indicate that everything is linked. Every photo was taken in the garden. The garden comprises about 1.5 acres and some areas are left uncut. There are over 1000 cowslips, 400 spotted orchids, knapweed, etc. and about 23 or more species of bird are recorded each week for the BTO Garden Birdwatch scheme.

This talk was recommended to us by someone who had heard it so I’m sure you are in for a treat.

There is a £3 entrance to cover the cost of room hire and cakes, etc. for the half-time break.
